LALIFF 2018 & 2019

Through its partnerships with LALIFF, LIMA helped raise awareness for the festival by helping secure press opportunities (including Good Day LA and AMP Radio), promoting through social media and providing industry professionals to moderate panels at Legacy screenings featuring the student films of the Youth Cinema Project. LALIFF Legacy provides a glimpse into the creative minds of our 4th – 12th grade filmmakers.

LIMA, partnered with Netflix and other Latinx organizations to discuss issues that are important to our community. Latinos make up nearly 20% of the US population and 25% of sales at the box office – but are just 3% of the workforce in front of and behind the camera on films. It’s time for studios to take our communities seriously and improve Latino diversity in Hollywood. #RepresentationMatters
